About the Teacher:
Bonjour! I am Zel Gabriel. I am a student at CSU working on my MA in French as well as my MA in Teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language. I currently teach beginning French at CSU, and I've also worked at the university's ESL center teaching English to international students. For one year, I worked abroad in Alençon, France as an English classroom assistant at two middle schools; and I hope to work abroad in a French-speaking place again someday. When I'm not at school, I can be found hiking, taking pictures, and hanging out with my three cats.
About this Class: We will be learning basic French listening and speaking skills in a fun and informal environment. Course topics can vary and will be chosen based on the interests of students.
