Amazing Athletes:
Amazing Athletes is the leading youth multi-sport enrichment program in the country with franchises all over the U.S. and even some as far away as Dubai. Although we're part of a huge organization, owners Edward and Kelsie are both Colorado natives who have grown up here in Fort Collins Colorado. We purchased the franchise in March from previous owner Logan Hastings who had been running Amazing Athletes for ten years in Northern Colorado and was ready to move on to her next business endeavor. Edward and Kelsie have three young children of their own and both have a passion for working with kids and a vision of making a positive impact in our communities here in Northern Colorado.
Coach Greg is a certified teacher who graduated with a degree in education with an emphasis in teaching ESL with many years of experience working abroad and here in the United States both teaching and running ESL programs. Coach Greg has eight years of experience coaching track and field, 3 seasons of experience coaching youth basketball as well as two seasons of coaching youth soccer. Coach Madison recently graduated with a degree in physical education. Coach Madison has experience coaching many different sports and has played basketball, soccer, football, and rugby. She has a passion for working with kids and really enjoyed her time training youth athletes one on one for the Special Olympics while working on her degree.

The AXIS Run Club is open to Kindergarten-5th grade students. The goal of the AXIS Run Club is to promote healthy lifestyles and physical activity. We want to encourage children to have fun while running! We have two running groups to join from:

  • AXIS Run for Fun Group: This group is open to all grades, Kindergarten-5th. This group will run laps and play active games in the field.

  • AXIS 5K Group: Students ages 8+ who are eager to train for a 5K race (3.1 miles) are welcome to join this group. If a younger student (6-7 years old) wants to join, a parent must accompany them each time. This group will be running offsite on the Spring Canyon Trail.

Club Amigos is open to grades Kindergarten-2nd Grade and gives your child the opportunity to learn and practice Spanish through super fun activities, games and experiences. View the flyer by clicking here
CSU Girls Advancing Scientific Progress (GASP!) - Open to girls ages 9-12

GASP! is an afterschool program that provides fun, female-led opportunities for girls to develop science skills, and apply them to studies of their local environment. GASP is run through CSU's Environmental Learning Center (ELC) program. ELC's mission is to inspire and educate people to connect with and become stewards of our natural world. The staff are undergraduate students at CSU interested in pursuing careers in environmental education. GASP! programming ends on May 4th.

CSU Young Experimenters - Open to ages 5-8

Students will participate in hands-on experiments from environmental disciplines of science such as geology and meteorology. By using the scientific method, recording data and running experiments, students will study and connect with the natural environment. Young Experimenters programming ends on May 2nd.

Family Balance Yoga:
We have been providing fun yoga classes for kids and families since 2014. FBY is owned and operated by a PSD teacher who loves kids, teaching, AND yoga. Your child can come "zen out" after school! We'll be stretching, strengthening, breathing, posing and playing yoga games to promote great health, relaxation, coordination, anxiety-reduction, and most of all-FUN! If your child is craving movement and exercise without the competition, this is the class for them.
Our Mission it to provide Taekwondo instruction allowing students to develop leadership and teamwork skills using equitable practices. Jenny and Jiri have been teaching this afterschool program since 2018 and it is the highlight of their week. Outside of teaching Taekwondo, Jenny works full-time at CSU and Jiri is a Park Ranger for Colorado Parks and Wildlife Services.
Students can expect to learn Olympic-style Taekwondo also known as World Federation Taekwondo. Our classes look different each day, so one day you can expect an obstacle course or balancing games and the next day we may be sparring or practicing kicking and punching. We want students to not only learn the Taekwondo curriculum but to have fun while doing it. We have students taking part for a variety reasons, some are focused on getting their black belt, or competing in tournaments, while others just want to have a fun time with their friends. We adapt to meet the different needs of each child to help them reach their goals.
