Kindergarten- In kindergarten we are learning about beat and rhythm. Kinder recently did a duck performance during class. 

1st- In first grade we are learning about beats, and meters of 2, 3, 4. 

2nd- In second grade we are learning about beats, and meters of 2/4, 3/4, 4/4.

3rd- In third grade we are learning about ostinatos, musical alphabet, and rounds + canons. 

4th- In fourth grade we are learning about 16th notes, octaves + descants, ascending and descending scales, and major and minor melodies. 4th grade is preparing to perform a talent show for 3rd grade this upcoming Thursday. 

5th- In fifth grade we are learning about meter of 6/8, syncopation, and dotted note rhythms. 5th grade recently did a talent show for the 2nd grade class. 

6th- We are working on a hip-hop dance that will be performed at the next Dojo party.
