Danica Raehal

Hello Preschool Families! My name is Danica Raehal and I have been teaching preschool/pre-k for over 20 years! I was drawn to AXIS due to the diverse culture and language immersion that is fostered here. In addition to my years of teaching, I obtained a BA in Child Psychology, a CDA credential, and a multitude of early childhood trainings that have led to my successes in the field. I look forward to being your child's first step in their journey at AXIS, celebrating their successes alongside you!

Places I have been: Various places in the US, Mexico and Canada. I aspire to travel to Greece in the near future!

I am an educator because: I am a passionate educator who cares about the learning and growth of your child. As an educator, I am curious to learn and try new teaching techniques and activities. As a result, I am interested in expanding not only my own horizons, but the horizons of the children around me!

Personal snippets: I am originally from Texas, moved to Colorado in 2001. I have a wonderfully blended family that includes my husband, a stepdaughter, two adopted children, my biological son, and two fur babies! Several times a year we escape the normal routine and travel to my favorite mountain town, Estes Park!
